Blockgram is searching for a UX Designer for one of our largest clients in the Montreal, Canada area.

We are looking for an intermediate to Senior User Experience Designer to work with our engineering and product teams to improve the awesomeness of our applications and services.

To be specific, responsibilities will include:

  • You will be the go to person for all UX matters.
  • Evangelize on all things UX.
  • Learn from and teach others on how to improve the user experience on a daily basis.
  • Deeply understand the users of our products by conducting field studies, usability testing, creating and maintaining user journeys and any other artifacts you see fit. You will also make sure that we all understand our users by communicating and involving the company in your user research.
  • Work with the teams to identify opportunities and make recommendations to enhance the user experience and stickiness of our products and services.
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes and any other artifacts you deem important to ensure the proper implementation of your vision.


  • Min 2 years in designing the user experience of desktop, web and mobile (Android) applications.
  • Min 2 years with wireframe design tools like Basalmiq, Axure, Illustrator, Visio or others
  • Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of modern software technologies (web browsers, Desktop and mobile software development)
  • Ideally you are bilingual (but if you’ve got good English or French, you’ll be fine)
  • Experience in design thinking, contextual design, user centered design or similar methodologies.
